As soon as I put on this drapey black tee I knew it was a closet gem. It’s a perfect length for tucking in or leaving out. The angled sleeves give it just that added touch of elegance to make it unique and the subtle black on black print gives it interest. I first wore it out for a dinner date, again the next day to work with light denim, a blazer and pointy flats and I’m already dreaming up ways to wear it this week.
My love affair with great basics is certainly no secret so when Ayala, the designer behind the clothing line GUSTA, got in touch to collaborate I was more more than intrigued. She explained that the GUSTA philosophy was born out of the importance of comfortable clothing, light materials and loose silhouettes. All of her designs are created in boutique production, sold online (here) and in her shop and studio, located in Tel-Aviv. I thought, “Hooray! I’ve found a kindred style spirit!” and then went on to reply with an exuberant and quite possibly over enthusiastic email.
Indeed this great black tee is part of the GUSTA collection but be sure to check out the full line here and stay tuned for another collaborative style post coming up soon!
