12 EASY OUTFITS FOR SPRING/FALL

03.04.19

Even though a new season is just around the corner, I wanted to see if I could extend my cold weather closet just a little bit further before I dive into my spring style plans. While we’ve been in Vancouver for the last couple of weeks, I’ve been keeping an outfit journal of sorts and thought I’d share some of my recent favourites. A dozen of them to be exact!

Each look could easily transition into early spring and chances are you’ve already got what you need to make a few of them work. They follow a general formula and items like coats, jeans, shoes and accessories are repeated to give you an idea of how they can mix and match. From a night on the town to the hiking trails there’s a combo for every occasion!

Today’s post is light on copy but heavy on style ideas, so let’s dig in!

I absolutely love your style and am loving curating these looks in my own closet!! I was wondering where you got that beautiful gold necklace of the woman’s bust? I love that!

  2. Tracey says:

    Hi!
Thank you for this great post. I always feel inspired after looking through your outfits. Unfortunately I spend most of my time in a casual professional work environment and cannot wear jeans. I would love to see more outfits with this in mind.
    Thanks!

  3. Katrina says:

    Hi Lee,
Thanks for sharing these, they’re great! I would love to see a few more work appropriate outfits. I don’t work in a corporate, business formal office but light or even regular jeans are pushing it for most of us.

  4. Rach says:

Thank you! These are simple combinations that I can draw inspiration from, pulling things from my own wardrobe. I love that you include outfits that can be worn for outside activities as we don’t all hang out in cafes and shops all weekend – I love to get out for a walk in nature. I am only just seeing a shift in the weather – hot to cooler temps here in Australia and can’t wait to be able to layer up. I will be putting my own spin on some of your combinations.

  5. Sarah Moreau says:

I love ALL of these outfits!! Honestly I couldn’t pick a favourite because they are all so lovely and clean! Some of these are even nice for cooler evenings when the weather does warm up.

  6. SOphie says:

Raiding my wardrobe for looks 1,8 and 12. In the U.K our weather has been far warmer than you’ve had and I’m loving my cropped black dungarees with Moto boots or tennis shoes. Little bit of sunshine, little bit of ankle.

  7. Patricia Kay says:

    Cold. yes.
    Snow. yes.
    But!
These are so doable and so classy fun even in the cold! I will be “shadowing” for next 11++days!
Favorites=All! Love the # 11 look and a few others that were similar with the scarf-beauty.
    That scarf! Wow how beautiful!
Is it as warm and comfortable as it gorgeous?
    Thanks bunches🌹

  8. Linda says:

Love when you do this!! We’ve had the worst weather on record in Alberta so I’m really suffering from outfit depression!!
Thanks for all the great ideas!!

  9. Sarah Winton says:

I love the simplicity of your looks! They are totally recreatable (not sure if that is a word, ha ha!)!

  10. Rebecca says:

Lee!! This is such a great post I immediately went into Cladwell to “build” some of these outfits to wear this week 🙂 I am at wits’ end about the 2 feet of snow we got over the weekend. Thanks for some fresh inspiration!

    • Lee the Bee says:

Thanks Rebecca, so glad to hear the post is helpful! Oh man, I know, the late season snow falls are pretty disheartening. Hope it melts soon and spring gets a move on! Stay cozy.
