Whenever I want to pair a pant and a boot that have conflicting lengths and heights, I use a little trick called the “faux crop”. This simply means folding the hem of my jeans under until they’re at a length that falls high enough above the top of the boot to not get caught. This helps me mix and match a lot more of my closet without needing tailoring!
