Sometimes style and comfort make passionate love. In this case a perfect blazer and pants were conceived. I am helpless when it comes to blazers so when this one came up on Madewell it was a no brainer. However I was weary of the sweatpant = real pants trend until I took these ones for a spin. Love at first wear I suppose. The faux leather tux detail makes them special and the fact that I could wear them to bed or on a date bodes well for their versatility. Loves me some versatility.

The collarless-ness of this blazer is what sold me. I love the clean lines and sleek silhouette it creates. The cut is just right and a single button gives it a contemporary vibe. Bonus, the fabric has stretch so you don’t feel like you’ll pop a seam with a swift or sudden arm stretch. So I’m free to flail away!
