BREEZY SUMMER 10×10 – LOOK 7

This look is what I like to call “Cottage Katharine”, inspired by Hepburn but with a distinctly casual feel. Perfect for a Sunday of putting around the house or for a quick drive and a poke around an antique market.

I often find myself wearing my shirts tied this way and I’ve come to realize that a front knot is actually more comfortable and less fussy than tucking the tails in. It’s a styling trick that can work with just about any shirt, allows for customization, and results in a finished focal point that ties the look together (slight pun intended).

Next time you’re wondering what to do with that boring oxford or button up, give it a front knot and see if that doesn’t liven it up for you!
