TRENCH, TURTLE, ALPACA CREW, AND TONAL ACCESSORIES
I try not to give in to puffer coats before New Year’s Eve and to keep my other outerwear in rotation for as long as possible. “Try” being the operative word or course.
To do this I like to get creative with layering and opt for colour repetition throughout the look to keep it from feeling busy. One of my go-to layering combos is a fitted turtleneck and a light but cozy crewneck (alpaca is amazing for this). Then I like to add an oversize fitting coat on top, like my Mac Coat. With jeans and ankle boots it’s perfect for an average November day.
Could you try layering this way to extend the use of your favourite fall coats?
