I recently saw the delightful video Shiny Ponies created by J.Crew to celebrate all their heavenly shoes of the season and post swooning I couldn’t help but seek out the shiny ponies of my life. My favourites right now are the frosty blue Karina blazer from Club Monaco, which I pair with the timeless Minnie Pant from J.Crew, a white tee like this one, and a pair of old silver Sigerson Morrison flats (if I were to buy new ones I’d pick these). For a little added tinsel I top it off with a silver necklace (cast from real dragon fly wings!) from the Organic Metal Gallery, a  badass pink snakeskin and silver stud cuff (similar and also similar), and a fancy silver BCBG mini bag. I’ll wear this getup to brunch, bridal showers, baby showers and even meetings (basically everywhere).

This blazer is almost the only purchase I’ve made in-store in 2013. (I will divulge my online-shopping afflictions at a later time.) It was the perfect pastel blue contrasted with exposed  zipper details that really put me over the edge. I’m tempted to pick up the yellow version but I’m trying to go easy on the Visa.

I picked up this cuff at a boutique in my hometown Guelph called Blush (fun fact, it’s made in Canada!). The BCBG mini purse was part of a New Years ensemble a couple years back but I still use it at least once a season.

Somehow I’ve managed to keep these delightfully delicate flats in prime condition for all the years I’ve had them. The leather is so supple and the metallic silver is just enough to catch the light without blinding anyone!
