Last weekend Dave and I disturbed the peaceful blue skies and open roads of Halton Region with the raucous rumble of a 1969 Porsche 911. Have you ever played that game, if you were a {insert genre} you’d be a {insert answer}? Well if Dave were a car he’d be this one. Timeless, audacious, loud, handsome as hell and entirely unique. Although he may argue that the utilitarian and rugged Land Rover Defender is a better representation. We’ll agree to disagree on that topic.

Naturally, Dave is infatuated with this car (it’s his Dads) and I had been dying to go for a drive all summer, so when Sunday’s opportunity presented itself we were ready. The 911 is all class and I knew just what outfit would be cruise friendly and live up to its standards. Said outfit involved a boyfriend cut linen blazer, high waisted shorts, timeless leather sandals and my favourite leather lady, the Edie bag.

It was great to escape and make believe that we’d been transported to the 60s even if only for an hour before reality and a renovation project quickly called us back.
Dave is in his finest: Railcar Fine Goods Jeans, Sperry TopSiders, Persol Sunglasses and Old Navy Classic tee.
