Happy Friday friends! I’m so ready for the weekend ahead but I’m almost even more excited for today’s post! It’s such a pleasure to be sharing a new line of beautiful, ethically produced linen staples all made (from fibre to final stitch) in Lithuania. Ode to Sunday was founded earlier this year by two long-time friends, Vaida + Agne, who have a passion for connection, relaxation and timeless style. Three things I can definitely get behind!
Today I’ll be sharing a short Q & A with co-founder and designer Vaida, plus 2 looks I styled with my favourite pieces and yet the best part is that Ode to Sunday is giving 1 lucky lady her favourite piece from the entire collection! Yep, whichever one your stylish heart desires! There are honestly only gorgeous options from this line and I can’t wait to hear what your favourites are! See below for all the details.
A BIT ABOUT ODE TO SUNDAY
1 | Could you share a bit about how and why you and your partner started Ode to Sunday?
We’ve known each other for a long time. Though we’re very different, this helps us make unique decisions and yet we noticed that we have a similar approach to life and values. We’d been interested in fashion for a long time and collaborated on a few small fashion projects at first, then decided it was time for something more ambitious – Ode to Sunday. We’re happy to be working together and value the great moments and challenges this project brings to us.
2 | I cannot get enough linen in my life. What made you chose this fabric for the entire collection?
We didn’t think a lot about which fabric to choose, linen felt like the only choice. Linen was something we’ve known since our childhood days. Our grandmother used a linen tablecloth, we hung linen curtains in our homes and used to have quite a few linen garments ourselves. This encouraged us to work with local suppliers, where linen is still prepared according to old traditions. The other very important reason is that linen has many amazing features. Starting from the fact that it is refreshing on a hot summer day and warm when it’s cold, it’s soft on the skin and wrinkles so beautifully, which we consider an advantage and don’t suggest ironing it. It is also one of the gentlest fibres on the environment.
3 | I love that ‘connection’ is at the core of Ode To Sunday. Why do you think this is such an integral part of your brand story?
I {co-founder Vaida} think it all started from our connection. We appreciate the friendship we have. We’ve always known that relationships with your loved ones are extremely valuable and need to be nurtured. We believe the best time for that is on Sunday, when we slow down and forget our everyday worries.
We prepare each of our products individually, from beginning to end. This way we’re able to closely observe each detail and ensure that a part of us leaves with every product.
Finally, by creating our story section, we have the opportunity to connect with and learn about so many inspiring women.
LOOK 1
This is totally the kind of look I wear most days in the office/studio. I basically feel like I’m still in my pjs and yet I look like a functional member of society, hurrah! I’m also super into this mix of muted brown and black with a hit of oxblood. Such comforting Fall tones.
FIT NOTES:
HANNA PANTS c/o ODE TO SUNDAY | I LOVE these pants so much it’s silly. They’re super soft and the slouch factor is just right. My favourite part is the super forgiving elastic waist (not visible from the front) which gives you the options of wearing them high or at the hip. No detail was ignored, right down to the pretty shell button. I’m wearing a size M but could have gone for a S if I wanted a slimmer fit through the leg.
T TOP c/o JAMIE + THE JONES | This one is a true closet hero for sure. The raw silk feels like a dream and I love the cut of this top, just perfect for front tucking. I’ve washed this one about 10 times since I got it in March and it’s still a super dark black (hand wash cold, tumble dry low). Wearing a size S.
SHOES c/o NISOLO | As you know these are my latest footwear faves and now I’m not complaining that it’s still 30 degrees out! I’ve been wearing them every chance I get and they’ve broken in very well. I just wear a bandaid over my big toe when I’m walking far. I wear a 36 and have a narrow US 7.
BAG vintage MILLAY VINTAGE (love this one so much it hurts) | EARRINGS c/o CLAUS (They’re so light I forget I’m wearing them but they add such a nice touch to a simple look like this.)
LOOK 2
This is another easy, everyday option for both work and weekends. I love the continuity of linen on linen but with contrasting colours. A sculptural bag and bracelet elevate things just enough to make it seem well thought out and my favourite boots in whiskey brown warm it up just enough. If the weather was acting normal, I’d toss on a kimono and a scarf and march on!
FIT NOTES:
EVA TOP c/o ODE TO SUNDAY | This is such a great simple, sleeveless top and a perfect example of how good design is always timeless. I particularly love the fit through the arms and how the shirt sits on my shoulders. The linen is thick enough for minimal-to-no show-through (I’m wearing a nude bra) and I can tell it’s going to age and soften very nicely. I’ll be tucking it in for the most part but I love how it looks untucked on others! I’m wearing a size S and wear a 32 C bra.
FLORENCE PANT c/o ELIZABETH SUZANN | My devotion to the Florence pant is no secret. They’ve easily been my most worn pants all summer and I have every intention of rocking them into the fall. Wearing a S Regular and I’m typically a 26/27 in pants.
BOOTS by RACHEL COMEY | I’m obsessed with the boots and constantly scheming for another pair. I bought a 6.5 as my foot and heel run narrow but next time I might go for my usual 7 so I could wear more substantial socks.
BAG by THE STOWE | BRACELET c/o MASLO JEWELRY

However, factoring in versatility when considering my own closet and the looks that I generally gravitate towards, I will have to say that my absolute favorite was the Uma tee in white.
Thank you so much for introducing us to this brand! I seriously just want to buy the entire collect (probably would too if my wallet allowed it).
I’ve only been recently introduced to your blog by Caroline of Un-fancy a week ago and already I’ve spent hours a day perusing your blog. Since reading your blog, I’ve been taking more and more steps towards making my closet more lean. Looking forward to your new posts!!

How is it even possible to pick just one?????
tough, though this might be it: Naomi shirt in white
Cecilia dress in cream. Can see it carrying me through many seasons (in the summer with strappy sandals, in the winter with wool tights, a sweater and booties).
I love the simplicity of the Eva Tank top in white. I struggle with white being too see through, but this looks just right.
The Uma tee–I can’t even decide between black and white! The boxy shape and short sleeves means a year-round piece for me, and just having returned from a trip to Japan, it had me at “kimono sleeves.”
So many excellent options! The Cecilia dress in black is a standout staple.
The Ofelia skirt is beautiful- love the pockets!
I love the Hanna pant in charcoal!
