You might remember this dress from my Winter Wish List but the truth is it’s been on my mind for a lot longer than the last few months. I decided to pull the trigger on it earlier this season and I’m so SO glad I finally did. Really it’s just further proof that Elizabeth Suzann can do no wrong. The Georgia Midi is made from a rich black, heavy-weight silk that feels absolutely delicious. Plus it’s much less wrinkly than I was anticipating. I love how it moves with me but doesn’t cling and the shape is super flattering. I opted for a simple but substantial belt to go with it for some occasions but it looks just as great without the belt for a more relaxed vibe. I almost shot it with this sweater and these boots but instead I paired it with some go-to winter party accessories for a look that’s just begging for a dance floor and some champagne. The only thing missing is this glorious ivory coat but that’s another dream for a different day.
Have you picked up any new dream duds lately? Do tell!

Hi Lee!
Just love all your posts! So can you recommend a belt just like this Elizabeth Suzann one, since ES is not only out of business, but it was discontinued? It’s such an amazing piece I know I would wear with everything. Or if anyone wants to sell me there’s or make one like this for me😆🤗😘 Thanks!!
I love this on you! I was wondering if this is in silk crepe or raw silk?
Thank you xo
Thanks so much Sydney! This is the crepe silk in black. Still my favourite dress 😉
The dress looks perfect on you and I could think of so many ways to wear it..
I’ve been shopping lately and the one dress I’m really enjoying is my very lightweight one from Joie. Head over to my blog to check it out if you have a minute! Not high fashion but something that I enjoy wearing on a day to day basis 😉
Thanks so much Mun! That dress you mentioned looks beautiful on you! Wish we had anything even close to sandal weather here in Canada. Hope you’re enjoying the Holidays! xo
I love how the dress looks on you, it’s so flowy! The belt is a very nice touch, pretty much perfect match for the dress. LOVE it.
Thank you for sharing! I don’t think it will look good on a short person like me, but maybe with a shorter length it would work better. I like how simple yet chic and comfortable it looks and feels. I have flowy long-ish dresses, which look great on its own, but not that good on me, adding a belt is fun and also makes it very different.
Enjoy the weekend!

Echo, you are so sweet! Thanks for your lovely comment 🙂 I know what you mean about long dresses on a petite frame but I am sure you can rock a long flowy dress! I do find it a bit tricky to style during winter as I think long dresses suit minimal footwear (sandals) better than boots. Hope your weekend was great! xo
