Style Bee - Fall Classics

Well that’s that I guess, the clocks are all turned back and we’re staring down the barrel of 6 months of increasingly darker days. It’s funny how short sighted people can be sometimes. Every year when we “Fall Back” an hour everyone gets all hyped up about the extra sleep, but fail to see the reality of the situation. Before this year I was the same but one measly hour really didn’t hold much excitement this time around. I think I’m just scarred from last winter’s ice storm horrors but the nights really are getting longer and colder. Does than not scare anyone else!? If I have to look on the bright side I guess the opportunity to bring out one of my favourite cold weather coat is a pretty good reason to get excited. In an attempt to subdue my depression I pulled on some easy jeans and layered up my favourite fabrics. All this grumbling aside, I know  it’s just a matter of time before I’m full throttle Christmas mode and loving every aspect of the season. Have a good monday friends!

Can I just say, I think you should cut your hair to that length that’s sticking out! I honestly thought for a second when I was first scrolling through the photos that you did cut it. You’d look so chic with a short ‘do! (Not that you don’t already, but you know what I mean…)

Also, I lost my Indio shades from Madewell while ziplining in September, and so I’ve been sunglasses-less ever since (I’m a one pair girl! I hate having more than one pair at a time for whatever reason). You’ve always made the Hepcats look so great, so I finally caved and ordered a pair last week! I wanted the tortoise, but they were sold out, so I settled on black. Thanks for the constant inspiration, my dear!

Shannon, you are on my wavelength (as always)! I will confess two things to you. The first is that I am planning a big hair chop but not until I have enough to donate a full 10-12 inches to locks of love. So probably early spring will be the right time. EEP!!

The second confession is that I have purchased not one, not two, but three pairs of hepcat shades (all in vintage stout) because I am obsessed and when I lose a pair I immediately order a new one. I hope you love them as much as I do but I have no doubt they’ll look amazing on you! xo
