NOVEMBER STYLE BEE READER FAVOURITES

12.01.21

Time for another instalment of Style Bee Reader Favourites! I had some really positive feedback on the first one so I’m excited to keep this series going. I hope it can serve as a window into what other folks that enjoy my style and read the blog are genuinely interested in buying.

Today we’re looking at the most loved items from the month of November. These pieces are all really beautiful and highly wearable. I think they’d all make for a seamless addition to any minimal, comfort-forward, capsule closet!

Let’s take a look shall we?

1 // Dayana Water Resistant Stretch Bootie – These were this month’s winner by a mile! They’re the newest rendition of my long-standing favourite suede glove boots from Aquatalia (seen recently here). They’re still on sale and come in 4 chic colour ways.

2 // The Cashmere Cocoon CardiganUse LEE15 for 15% Off at Jenni Kayne – I can usually tell when an item has been on reader’s wish lists when it goes on sale and this knit definitely was. I hope those who decided to go for it love it as much as I do! it comes in several gorgeous colours and sizes XXS – 3X. I wear an XS in this style as it runs large. See the full unsponsored review here.

4 // The Pima Micro Rib Turtleneck – Definitely my most worn base layer in the winter. I have this staple in 6 colours! It fits true to size and washes up great every time.

3 // Neva Long CardiganUse LEEV20 for 20% Off at ABLE – The midnight colour way in this cardigan is almost sold out but it comes in 4 other gorgeous options and sizes XXS – 3X. I wear a medium in this style for extra room through the hip. See the full review here.

5 // The Perfect Leather Belt – Definitely my go-to accessory when I want to add structure to a look. I’ve been so happy with how this belt has held up and aged. I have the brown leather too. I sized down as it does fit generously and I like high waisted pants.

6 // The Everyday SweaterUse LEE15 for 15% Off at Jenni Kayne – This one is another personal favourite from the Jenni Kayne styles I’ve tried. It’s a great price point for the quality and comes in a range of gorgeous colours and sizes XXS – 3X. I wear an S in this style and it’s roomy (seen recently here).

7 // The Little One Eye Shadow Palette – I was in the market for a new eye shadow palette and shared this one in My Current Makeup Capsule. It seems like a few of you were after a new palette too! I’ve been using it and really loving the colour range.

8 // The Mae Drapey TeeUse LEEV20 for 20% Off at ABLE – This is such a great elevated basic. I love how fluid the fabric is and the elegant scooped neckline.

9 // The Dream Pant – I shared these as a an option for a corporate capsule and I think they’re the perfect low-key trouser. Plus they come in a few colours!

10 // The Short Sleeve Bodysuit – This is a longtime favourite of mine. I have three! I find the fit is true to size and they’re the perfect unfussy base layer for the winter!

REPEAT FAVOURITES FROM LAST MONTH

These pieces still ranked high on the list this month too.

1 // AVERDON COAT IN HERRINGBONE INSULUXE FABRIC – This one is still stocked in a few sizes and made from fully traceable wool (with a touch of cashmere) that’s said to be super warm.

2 // Laguna Chelsea Boot – I shared these as an alternate option for my Corticella Suede Boots and while Cedarwood (taupe leather) is almost sold out, there are lots of colours. I think it’s the proportions that make this one such a hit because they’re just right for a lug tread boot that’s not too chunky.

3 // ORGANIC COTTON CREW – This piece has been a reader favourite for years and after my spotlight on white t-shirts it got an extra boost in popularity. This is a personal favourite base tee to wear under knits and just a true classic staple.

Thanks for tuning in!

I like the Everyday Sweater from Jenni Kayne, I would love it if it didn’t pill so quickly for the cost that it is. The Cashmere Fisherman from her is worth the money and is one of the softest sweaters I’ve ever owned.

Thanks for sharing your insights on your Jenni Kayne pieces Jenifer! I wonder if the colour impacts pilling because I don’t find that my ivory one pills much at all. Do you have a different colour? I totally agree that the cashmere fisherman knit is incredibly soft. xo
