CASHMERE COCOON CARDIGAN

{ Use LEE15 for 15% OFF }

This cardigan has been a personal favourite for a couple of years now. While it comes with a hefty price tag, I’ve found that the quality is excellent and a bit of seasonal care keeps it looking brand new. It’s the kind of knit that looks chic with anything and always inspires compliments. I have it in Oatmeal and Charcoal but there are lots of colour ways available. I sized down and wear an XS in this style.

The Alpaca Cocoon, Cropped Cocoon and Cotton Cocoon also made it on the top 20 list.

#2

THE LONG MAC COAT

I brought this coat into my closet in early spring and it’s been the perfect outerwear to bridge the seasons. I went with my usual size in outerwear from Everlane and the fit is quite oversize so if you’re between sizes you may want to size down.

I have it in Toasted Coconut and it comes in Stone (for those who prefer a cool neutral).

#3

ORGANIC LINEN TIERED DRESS

This is a quintessential summer dress that’s perfect for hot, humid weather. I wore it at least a couple of times a week all season and love how the breezy fit is balanced by the square neckline and thoughtfully placed seams.

I wear it with these nip covers (another reader favourite) in lieu of a bra.

I sized down from my usual EF size and love the fit. The shoulder straps are adjustable and it’s currently on sale. It also comes in Black linen.

#4

WASHABLE SILK WIDE LEG PANT

If you’ve followed me for any length of time you’ll know I love my wide leg silk pants from Elizabeth Suzann (no longer in production). I often link to an option from Cuyana as they have a very similar cut and look to them. Plus, they’re washable, have pockets and a longer inseam than the pair I have (which I would prefer to have now).

#5

MOONLIGHT PAJAMA SET

The exact set I have seems to be sold out, but I’ve linked to the set I’d go for now and this set is another good option. Investing in comfortable pajamas that I actually like wearing was one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my closet this year.

#6

THE RIVIERA DRESS

This dress sold out really soon after I shared it in this post but it’s back (and restocking next spring)! I really enjoyed wearing it last summer and found it easy to dress up or down.

I wear my usual size small in this style and it fits true to size if not a little generous. The upper bodice is very soft and stretchy, plus, it has pockets!

#7

90’S CHEEKY JEANS

It’s probably no secret that these are my favourite denim style from Everlane. I have them in two washes, Vintage Mid Blue (standard fit) and Washed Black (curvy fit). The fit does vary from wash to wash and I’ve found the darker wash the less it gives with wear. That said, I have both in the same size 26, which is the smaller of the two sizes I tend to go for from Everlane.

I have the Vintage Mid Blue in the Standard Fit and find the fit is fairly relaxed since the denim is soft. I have the Washed Black in the Curvy Fit and you can see an in-depth comparison here.

Style Bee - THE OVERSIZED ALPACA CREW - A Review
#8

OVRESIZED ALPACA CREWNECK

Year over year, this knit is a reader favourite, and one of my own as well. I have this one in 3 colours now and can’t say enough about how light, cozy and easy they are to layer and style. I wear my usual size Small and you can find a full review on this knit here.

#9

PERFECT VINTAGE STRAIGHT LEG JEANS

I’ve been wearing the “Perfect Vintage” style from Madewell for almost as long as I’ve been blogging. This year I decided to try the straight leg version and it was an instant love affair. I have an now sold out wash called HOYE but the same cut comes in a range of washes. Montville, Springwood and Mayfield are all classic washes. I wear my usual size 26 in Madewell denim.

#10

PIMA MICRO RIB LONG SLEEVE TEE

These are my absolute go-to when it comes to basic tees and base layers. I wear the Turtleneck and Long Sleeves all winter and the Tee and Scoop Necks in the spring and summer. They’re true to size for a slim fit that’s not too tight or too baggy. They wash up really well, I just avoid hot water or high heat so they hold their shape and the elastane doesn’t get dried out.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

I’m not able to track the metrics of all the products I feature but based on messages, link clicks and the number of times I’ve heard from folks about them, these three items have been hugely popular with readers as well.

The Philosopher Wayward Fit Shirt

{ Use LEE15 for 15% Off through Monday, or use STYLEBEE10 for 10% Off anytime. }

This piece has been in my closet for many years and it remains a steadfast staple, especially come spring and summer. You can see a range of ways I style it and read lots more on fit and the details that make it special in this feature post.

The Classic Curated Coat

This review remains one of the most popular posts on the blog. I’m glad I’ve been able to help folks out with the fit and sizing details that can make buying a special piece online feel a bit daunting.

Cortina Shearling Lined Boot

I bought these boots after loving my Corticella Suede Boots for a long time and the Cortina has been an even warm and more versatile option. I have found the fit true to size. I wear a US7 (sometimes 7.5) and the 38 fits great.
